Retired last year and finally had time for my dream car — a Corvette. The site looked legit: "353 active auctions," live bids, delivery estimates, even a "Money-Back Guarantee". Won the auction on their 2010 Corvette ZR-1 at $45,105, paid the invoice the same day. That was the last I ever heard from PrimeAutoBid. The "Buyer Support" that answered every question before the auction went silent — phone (656) 268-0101 just rings out, info@primeautobid.com ignored. Later I checked: 18 Weymouth Ln in Palm Coast is a residential house, not an auction house. And their fancy "Registration ID WVVD9817218118" in the footer is worth exactly nothing. All those perfect 5-star reviews from "Kate P." and "Steve O." across the country — I'd love to meet those people. $45k gone, no Corvette. Don't repeat my mistake.
